Beginners
Disc golf is like golf, but you throw a disc at a metal basket instead of hitting a ball into a hole. Most courses are free and open in public parks. You need one disc and about an hour.

Each hole starts at a tee pad. The sign shows distance and par.
Grab one mid-range or putter. Don't worry about distance. Aim for control.
Count your throws until the disc lands in the basket. Lowest score wins.
Let faster groups play through, watch for walkers, and pack out your trash.
